\u2022 Iran Bans Sale Of Foreign Currencies At Exchange Bureaus<\/strong><\/p>\n Iran\u2019s central bank has announced a ban on the sale of foreign currencies at exchange bureaus. Under new government guidelines, exchange bureaus no longer have the right to buy, sell, or transfer foreign currencies, and the central bank will no longer provide cash to the bureaus.<\/p>\n \u2022 Kermanshah storeowners protest<\/strong><\/p>\n Bazzar storeowners and merchants in the province of Kermanshah and the city of Baneh of Kurdistan province went on strike on Sunday, April 15, 2018 to protest the increase in custom tariffs. The demonstration covered an area from beginning of Abazar Ave. to Khoorasan Square.<\/p>\n \u2022 Two women were brutalized during farmers\u2019 protest in Isfahan<\/strong><\/p>\n Isfahan\u2019s farmers continued their protests with women\u2019s active participation on Saturday, April 14, 2018, in Khorasgan Square of this city, in central Iran.<\/p>\n Fearing the spread of protests, the State Security forces blocked Jay Ave. by placing curbstones and water cannons on the route.<\/p>\n \u2022 Atena Daemi reported in alarming physical condition<\/strong><\/p>\n The physical condition of political prisoner Atena Daemi has been reported as alarming.<\/p>\n \u201cAfter being transferred to Qarchak Prison, Atena (Daemi) has had various physical and nervous problems due to bad prison conditions and tremendous psychological pressure,\u201d a source close to Daemi family announced on Friday, April 13, 2018.<\/p>\n The source added, \u201cAfter a month, she is still suffering from cold. Her face is numb and the right side has become motionless. Her eyes are protruding and the numbness of her face is spreading to her throat.
