Washington, DC \u2013 April 27, 2024<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
**Washington, DC\u2014April 27, 2024:<\/strong> Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (**PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) organized a rally in front of the White House to protest the increasing wave of executions by the Iranian regime. They also expressed solidarity with the Iranian Revolution<\/a> and advocated for regime change towards a Free Iran.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Iranian community in Washington DC called for the absurd death sentence imposed on the imprisoned artist Toomaj Salehi to be unequivocally annulled, free from clerical regime machinations. They supported the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/ncri-statements\/statement-human-rights\/iran-call-for-urgent-action-to-save-reza-rasaei-and-habib-deris-two-political-prisoners-facing-execution\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Iranian Resistance\u2019s call<\/a> to save the lives of political prisoners sentenced to death and on the brink of execution.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/peoples-mojahedin-pmoi-mek-iran\/\">MEK\u00a0<\/a>supporters in Washington DC demanded the trial of the mullahs\u2019 regime leaders, especially <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2020\/10\/who-is-ali-khamenei-iranian-regime-supreme-leader\/19254\/\">Ali Khamenei<\/a>\u00a0(Supreme leader of the mullahs\u2019 regime) and the mass murderer\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/iran-ebrahim-raisi-a-mass-murderer-for-president\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ebrahim Raisi<\/a>\u00a0for crimes against humanity, in an international court.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Human rights activists and Iranian American Community memevers gathered at Lafayette Park today to protest the recent wave of executions and harsh sentences, including the<br>death sentence of Iranian rapper <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/ToomajSalehi?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#ToomajSalehi<\/a> by an Iranian court. charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The Iranian community in Washington DC emphasized the Iranian people seeking a democratic republic and rejecting any kind of dictatorship, be it the mullahs or a return to that of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shah\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0regime.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/about-ncri\/alternative\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Iranian Resistance<\/a> supporters in Washington DC urged the international community to support the Iranian\u2019s people uprising and take a firm stance against the oppressive regime of the
