A majority of the Moldovan Parliament has endorsed a statement advocating for the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC<\/a>) as a terrorist organization and supporting the Ten-Point Plan<\/a> proposed by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>).<\/p>\n

This plan envisions a democratic Iran characterized by a clear separation of religion and state, as well as gender equality.<\/p>\n

The statement, signed by key members of the Moldovan Parliament, calls on the international community to recognize the Iranian people\u2019s right to uprising and the legitimacy of the Resistance Units<\/a> in their struggle against the IRGC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Moldovan Parliament\u2019s statement highlights several critical issues:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1-The Iranian regime is conducting a sham and absentee trial against the leadership of the resistance and 100 members of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>). This move is intended to justify terrorist actions against them, particularly in Europe, and to pressure European countries into restricting their activities, especially those based in Ashraf-3<\/a>\u00a0in Albania.<\/p>\n

2-During the 2022 uprising, the Iranian people outrightly rejected any form of dictatorship, whether monarchical or theocratic and demanded regime change and the establishment of a democratic republic.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the statement delineates five core demands:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1-Condemnation of severe human rights violations in Iran, particularly the oppression of women, and a call for accountability for the perpetrators of the 1988 massacre<\/a> for their ongoing crimes against humanity.
2-A call to all nations to support Mrs. Maryam Rajav<\/a>i\u2019s Ten-Point Plan for a democratic republic based on the separation of religion and state and gender equality.
3-Strong condemnation of the Iranian regime\u2019s actions against Iranian dissidents in Ashraf-3 in Albania, emphasizing their rights under the 1951 Geneva Convention and the European Convention on Human Rights.
4-Recognition that the Iranian regime has blocked all avenues for political change, thus the free world must acknowledge the Iranian people\u2019s right to revolt and the PMOI<\/a>-led Resistance Units\u2019 right to confront the IRGC<\/a>.
5-A firm condemnation of the Iranian regime\u2019s destabilizing role in the Middle East and its warmongering policies, along with a call for the IRGC<\/a> to be listed as a terrorist organization and the implementation of oil sanctions against the regime.<\/p>\n
