Amid the turmoil surrounding Iran\u2019s upcoming presidential elections following the death of Ebrahim Raisi<\/a>, the Resistance Units<\/a> of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) have engaged in 10,000 activities in preparation for the annual Free Iran Rally on June 29, 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n

By putting up placards, organizing small street parades, and distributing leaflets, the Resistance Units have highlighted slogans promoting the boycott of the regime\u2019s elections, the \u201cWoman, Resistance, Freedom\u201d campaign, and Maryam Rajavi<\/a>\u2019s Ten-Point Plan<\/a> for Iran\u2019s future.<\/p>\n

Some of the slogans and phrases distributed in cities across the country include:<\/p>\n

\u2013 \u201cThe vote of the Iranian people is to overthrow the regime.\u201d
\n\u2013 \u201cNo to the fake election, yes to Maryam Rajavi.\u201d
\n\u2013 \u201cNo to the election farce, yes to a democratic republic.\u201d
\n\u2013 \u201cKhamenei\u2019s dreams burned and turned to ashes with Raisi\u2019s death.\u201d
\n\u2013 \u201cNo to compulsory government \u2013 No to compulsory religion \u2013 No to compulsory hijab.\u201d
\n\u2013 \u201cNo to the Supreme Leader, yes to popular sovereignty.\u201d
\n\u2013 \u201cThere is no place for elections in this regime; it\u2019s time for an uprising.\u201d
\n\u2013 \u201cThe era of religious tyranny in Iran has ended.\u201d
\n\u2013 \u201cThe blessed spring of Iran is on the way with the struggle of rebellious women and men.\u201d
\n\u2013 \u201cIranian women should take the helm of leadership in a democratic Iran of tomorrow.\u201d
\n\u2013 \u201cOnward to the democratic revolution with Maryam Rajavi\u2019s ten-point plan.\u201d
\n\u2013 \u201cNo to the Supreme Leader, yes to popular sovereignty in a free republic.\u201d
\n\u2013 \u201cThe democratic revolution of the Iranian people will end religious despotism.\u201d<\/p>\n

These revolutionary activities continue despite the regime\u2019s efforts to suppress dissidents, with the IRGC actively hunting Resistance Unit members. Recently, regime forces brutally killed a young street cleaner suspected of intending to install a banner or vandalize regime symbols by throwing him off a pedestrian bridge.<\/p>\n

Despite the regime\u2019s heavy security measures and extensive surveillance, the activities of the Resistance Units have grown significantly ahead of the Free Iran Rally.<\/p>\n

The Resistance Units<\/a> have carried out their activities in cities including Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan, Karaj, Babol, Amol, Ramsar, Arak, Eslamshahr, Bandar Abbas, Saqqez, Mahabad, Tabriz, and Urmia, among others, to support the Free Iran Rally.<\/p>\n

A major wave of these activities, comprising a thousand nationwide actions to promote the democratic alternative, occurred a day before Raisi\u2019s death (May 18, 2024). Following Raisi\u2019s death, the operations and activities of the Resistance Units have significantly increased.<\/p>\n

Through 10,000 revolutionary activities across the country, the Resistance Units have amplified the message of the largest, longest, most complex, and bloodiest organized resistance in Iran\u2019s history with the central slogan: \u201cNo to Shah, no to mullahs,\u201d rejecting all forms of dictatorship and tyranny.<\/p>\n
