Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) gathered in Heidelberg, Germany on September 5, 2024, to commemorate the beginning of the 60th year since the MEK<\/a>\u2018s establishment.<\/p>\n

The celebration participants reaffirmed their unwavering support for the MEK\u2019s ongoing struggle to establish freedom, democracy, and human rights in Iran. They expressed strong backing for the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization\u2019<\/a>s leadership and its efforts to bring about revolutionary change in Iran, opposing the current religious dictatorship.<\/p>\n

The Iranian community in Heidelberg emphasized their desire for a democratic republic, rejecting both the current theocratic regime and any potential return to a monarchical<\/a> system. They voiced their support for the MEK<\/a>\u2018s vision of a free and democratic Iran.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the demonstrators called on the international community to stand with the Iranian people in their pursuit of change. They urged the German government to take a firm stance against the oppressive rule of the mullahs and support the Iranian people\u2019s aspirations for freedom.<\/p>\n

This gathering in Heidelberg showcased the continued relevance and support for the MEK among Iranians abroad, as the organization enters its sixth decade of activism.<\/p>\n
