London Rally \u2013 September 14, 2024<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
London, England\u2014September 14, 2024:<\/strong> Freedom-loving Iranians and the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>) held a rally at No. 10 Downing Street to mark the second anniversary of the 2022 nationwide uprising<\/a> and to show solidarity with the Iranian Revolution<\/a>.<\/p>\n
They honored the martyrs of the Iranian people and supported the brave Resistance Units<\/a> inside Iran, who mobilize the population, advance the uprising, and challenge the regime\u2019s repressive forces in the quest for a new revolution.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Freedom-loving Iranians in London emphasized the Iranian people\u2019s desire for a democratic republic and rejection of any kind of dictatorship, whether it be the mullahs\u2019 regime or a return to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shah<\/a>\u2019s regime.<\/p>\n<p>They emphasized that the protest movement remains alive due to the existence of a well-organized, democratic alternative in the NCRI, backed by a clear platform and active Resistance Units within Iran.<\/p>\n<p>Participants displayed photos of the martyrs from the 2022 uprising, honoring their sacrifice. They also called for a firm stance against the ruling religious dictatorship in Iran and demanded an end to the policy of appeasement, which allows the regime to continue oppressing the Iranian people, particularly women and youth.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-64510\" src=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/London-Rally-Sep-14-pic-013.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" onerror=\"this.src='https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/hello-elementor\/images\/broken-image-placeholder.gif';this.srcset='https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/hello-elementor\/images\/broken-image-placeholder.gif';\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/London-Rally-Sep-14-pic-013.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/London-Rally-Sep-14-pic-013-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/London-Rally-Sep-14-pic-013-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Anglo-Iranian community also urged the UK Government to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Acknowledge the Iranian people\u2019s right to overthrow the mullahs\u2019 regime and the right of the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/?s=Resistance+Units\" rel=\"\">Resistance Units<\/a> and rebellious youth to fight against the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2023\/04\/irans-regime-irgc-a-state-sponsored-terrorist-organization\/44858\/\">IRGC<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Formally recognize the NCRI and endorse the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/viewpoints\/plan-for-future-of-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">10-point democratic platform<\/a> proposed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/about-ncri\/ncri\/alternative\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NCRI<\/a> President-elect <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/maryam-rajavi\/\" rel=\"\">Maryam Rajavi <\/a>for Iran\u2019s future.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Despite brutal crackdowns, the fight for freedom continues. The regime\u2019s mass executions are a crime against humanity, and protesters demand that the UK proscribe the IRGC and hold Iran\u2019s regime accountable.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_64506\" and the Iranian people\u2019s quest for freedom and justice.<\/p>\n<p>In this demonstration, representatives from youth and women\u2019s associations also spoke in support of the uprising of the
