In her recent message to the conference in Berlin<\/a> on October 26, 2024, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>), addressed the urgent need to find a solution to the ongoing crisis in Iran and the broader region.<\/p>\n

She criticized the European Union\u2019s longstanding strategy of engaging with the Iranian regime, which has allowed it to evade accountability for severe human rights violations and expand its influence in the Middle East.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Rajavi <\/a>highlighted that this approach has resulted in dire consequences, including the regime\u2019s near capability to produce nuclear weapons and the escalation of terrorism that has affected Europe. She emphasized that the only viable solution lies in the overthrow of the current regime by the Iranian people and their resistance movement.<\/p>\n
