Gothenburg, Sweden\u2014November 2, 2024:<\/strong> Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) organized a rally and exhibition in solidarity with the\u00a0 Iranian Revolution<\/a>. This demonstration served as a tribute to the martyrs of the\u00a0 nationwide Iranian uprising<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0 November 2019<\/a>\u00a0and in 2022.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Iranian community in Gothenburg protested against the rising wave of executions carried out by the Iranian regime, called for the immediate release of all political prisoners held in the regime\u2019s prisons in Iran.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/peoples-mojahedin-pmoi-mek-iran\/\">MEK<\/a>\u00a0supporters in Gothenburg demanded the trial of the mullahs\u2019 regime leaders for crimes against humanity in an international court.<\/p>\n<p>Participants at the rally in Gothenburg, Sweden, called for an end to Sweden\u2019s policy of appeasement towards the Iranian regime and demanded that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2023\/04\/irans-regime-irgc-a-state-sponsored-terrorist-organization\/44858\/\" rel=\"\">IRGC<\/a>) be designated as a terrorist organization.<\/p>\n<p>Freedom-loving Iranians in Gothenburg emphasized the Iranian people\u2019s desire for a democratic republic and rejection of any kind of dictatorship, whether it be the mullahs\u2019 regime or a return to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shah<\/a>\u2019s regime.<\/p>\n<p>They demanded recognition of the resistance and the right of the Iranian people and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/t\/iranian-resistance-units\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MEK Resistance Units<\/a>\u00a0inside Iran to defend themselves in their struggle against
