Sheffield Exhibition \u2013 November 5, 2024<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
UK, November 5, 2024:<\/strong> Freedom-loving Iranians and academics in England who support the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a><\/span>) organized a book and photo exhibition in Sheffield to condemn human rights violations in Iran and show solidarity with the Iranian Revolution<\/a><\/span>. The event highlighted the critical human rights situation in Iran, focusing on the concerning situation of the political prisoners facing death sentences, and called for the immediate release of all political prisoners held by the mullahs\u2019 regime.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The exhibition also urged the UK government to formally designate the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2023\/04\/irans-regime-irgc-a-state-sponsored-terrorist-organization\/44858\/\">IRGC<\/a> as a terrorist organization and to close the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy, which is viewed as a center of espionage and terror. Members of Sheffield\u2019s Iranian community called for the international prosecution of Iran\u2019s leaders for crimes against humanity.<\/p>\n<p>The Academics In Exile Association stated on the X platform: <em>\u201cOn November 5, 2024, in the city of Sheffield, a book table was set up in solidarity with Iranian political prisoners and in protest against the death sentences they face. Alongside the warm support of the people, it expresses solidarity with the hunger strike of prisoners.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><\/p><blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\"
