Utrecht, the Netherlands\u2014November 9, 2024:<\/strong> Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) organized a rally to condemn the crimes of the Iranian regime and express their support for the democratic alternative represented by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>), led by Mrs.\u00a0 Maryam Rajavi<\/a>.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Iranian community in Utrecht protested against the rising wave of executions carried out by the Iranian regime, called for the immediate release of all political prisoners held in the regime\u2019s prisons, and expressed their solidarity with the <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/iran-protests-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Iranian Revolution<\/a>. Supporters of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/peoples-mojahedin-pmoi-mek-iran\/\">MEK<\/a> in Utrecht also demanded the trial of the mullahs\u2019 regime leaders for crimes against humanity in an international court.<\/p>\n<p>Participants at the rally in Utrecht, the Netherlands, called for an end to Sweden\u2019s policy of appeasement towards the Iranian regime and demanded that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2023\/04\/irans-regime-irgc-a-state-sponsored-terrorist-organization\/44858\/\" rel=\"\">IRGC<\/a>) be designated as a terrorist organization.<\/p>\n<p>Freedom-loving Iranians in Utrecht emphasized the Iranian people\u2019s desire for a democratic republic and rejection of any kind of dictatorship, whether it be the mullahs\u2019 regime or a return to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shah<\/a>\u2019s regime.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-66849\"
