Three prominent organizations\u2014the British Committee for Iran Freedom (BCFIF), Hands Off Cain, and Nouveaux Droits de l\u2019Homme (NDH)\u2014have issued urgent appeals to save six political prisoners in Iran<\/a> from execution. Abolhassan Montazer (65):<\/strong> A political prisoner since the 1980s, Montazer has endured numerous arrests and is believed to be affiliated with the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI<\/a>). Despite critical health issues, including heart and kidney conditions, he remains detained without adequate medical care.<\/li>\n
  2. Pouya Ghobadi (32):<\/strong> An electrical engineer, Ghobadi was arrested in March 2024, reportedly linked to the PMOI<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  3. Vahid Bani-Amrian (32):<\/strong> A management graduate, Bani-Amrian has been repeatedly arrested since 2017, with authorities citing his connection to the PMOI.<\/li>\n
