The Iranian Resistance<\/a>, led by Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, spearheaded an unrelenting wave of activism that rippled across continents. From parliamentary halls in Europe to the streets of major global cities, the movement embodied the collective yearning for justice and liberty.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In January, the resistance launched its efforts with the 28th telethon by Simay-e Azadi, rallying $7.05 million in international support. <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/maryam-rajavi\/\" rel=\"\">Maryam Rajavi<\/a>\u2019s address to French MPs on January 30 set the tone for a year that would highlight her Ten-Point Plan as a beacon for a future democratic Iran. Throughout the year, political endorsements poured in, with legislative actions across Europe and North America amplifying calls for the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2023\/04\/irans-regime-irgc-a-state-sponsored-terrorist-organization\/44858\/\" rel=\"\">IRGC<\/a>\u2019s designation as a terrorist organization and heightened sanctions on Tehran.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Grand Rally of Free Iran 2024 in Berlin\u2014June 29, 2024\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-D7XmbJJVtg?list=PLX_G5GCxiq1Pjv2mzpaVjMt56bF93iP8F\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The global solidarity deepened in February and March, as conferences commemorated the 1979 Revolution and International Women\u2019s Day, celebrating the pivotal role of women in the resistance. This momentum carried through the summer into international conferences in August, marking the anniversary of the massacre and demanding accountability.<\/p>\n<p>Autumn witnessed a crescendo of rallies and conferences in Berlin, Paris, New York, and Strasbourg, each echoing the call for a democratic alternative to Iran\u2019s oppressive regime.
