Paris, France\u2014January 4, 2025: <\/strong>At the start of the new year, supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) organized an exhibition featuring photographs and books. The event aimed to express solidarity with the Iranian Revolution<\/a> and denounce the regime\u2019s escalating use of executions.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The event highlighted the increasingly dire human rights situation in Iran, particularly focusing on the recent <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/human-rights\/2024\/12\/urgent-action-required-six-political-prisoners-sentenced-to-death-in-iran\/67727\/\" rel=\"\">death sentences<\/a> handed down to six political prisoners affiliated with the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/peoples-mojahedin-pmoi-mek-iran\/\" rel=\"\">PMOI<\/a>. Organizers aimed to raise awareness of these severe injustices and encourage international action against the regime\u2019s oppressive policies.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition featured a wide selection of books and powerful photographs documenting Iran\u2019s resistance movement, with a special emphasis on the PMOI\u2019s steadfast commitment to a democratic and secular future. The materials vividly portrayed the resilience and sacrifices of the Iranian people in their ongoing fight for freedom and human rights.<\/p>\n<p>Participants urged the international community to hold the Iranian regime accountable, calling on global leaders to prosecute its officials for crimes against humanity in international courts. They also advocated for the European Union to formally designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2023\/04\/irans-regime-irgc-a-state-sponsored-terrorist-organization\/44858\/\" rel=\"\">IRGC<\/a>) as a terrorist organization.<\/p>\n<p>This event was part of a larger campaign by MEK supporters to expose the regime\u2019s human rights violations and build international support for action against its repressive rule.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the exhibition in Paris underscored the Iranian people\u2019s aspirations for a democratic republic, firmly rejecting both the current mullahs\u2019 regime and any return to monarchical rule under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shah<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The
