Gothenburg, Sweden \u2014 January 4, 2025:<\/strong> Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) gathered for their first rally of the new year to oppose the regime of the mullahs. They expressed their support for the Iranian Resistance, led by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the President-elect of the NCRI<\/a>, and her Ten-Point Plan<\/a> for the future of Iran.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The event highlighted the need for international recognition of the Iranian resistance movement and affirmed the right of the Iranian people, along with the <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/t\/iranian-resistance-units\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MEK Resistance Units<\/a> inside Iran, to defend themselves in their ongoing struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, <span class=\"r-18u37iz\"><a class=\"css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3 r-1loqt21\" dir=\"ltr\" role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/hashtag\/MEK?src=hashtag_click\">MEK<\/a><\/span> supporters in Gothenburg emphasized the Iranian people\u2019s aspirations for a democratic republic, unequivocally rejecting both the current mullahs\u2019 regime and any return to monarchical rule under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shah<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Participants expressed solidarity with the <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/iran-protests-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Iranian Revolution<\/a> and urged the Swedish government to close the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy, labeling it a center of terrorism and espionage.
