Berlin, Germany \u2013 January 9, 2025:<\/strong> In cold and snowy weather, supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) held a photo exhibition and book display to shed light on human rights violations in Iran. The event focused on the country\u2019s dire human rights situation, with particular attention to the plight of political prisoners facing death sentences<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The organizers emphasized the need for international recognition of the Iranian resistance movement and affirmed the right of the Iranian people, along with the\u00a0MEK Resistance Units<\/a>\u00a0inside Iran, to defend themselves in their ongoing struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.<\/p>\n

The Iranian community in Berlin reaffirmed their commitment to a democratic republic in Iran, unequivocally rejecting all forms of dictatorship, including the theocratic rule of the mullahs and any potential return of the Shah<\/a>\u2019s regime.<\/p>\n

Participants called for the closure of the mullahs\u2019 embassy in Germany and urged the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC<\/a>) as a terrorist organization.<\/p>\n
