On January 11, 2025, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>) held an important conference in Paris, France, titled \u201cNew Policy toward the Iranian Regime.\u201d Distinguished political and military figures from around the globe gathered to discuss prospects for freedom in Iran and peace in the region.<\/p>\n
In her keynote speech<\/a>, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, emphasized that the overthrow of the ruling theocracy is the only viable path to achieving these goals. She outlined the key factors contributing to the regime\u2019s crises and highlighted the growing strength of the Iranian Resistance.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Rajavi also called for international recognition of the Iranian people\u2019s struggle for democracy and urged Western governments to adopt a firm policy against the Iranian regime. Her speech underscored the critical role of organized resistance and the significance of this moment in Iran\u2019s history.<\/p>\n
