Participants emphasized the role of the Iranian Resistance as a credible and democratic alternative to the ruling theocracy.<\/p>\n

Notable speakers included Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>); Gen.
