Geneva, Switzerland \u2013 January 24, 2025<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Geneva, Switzerland \u2013 January 24, 2025:<\/strong> Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) held a rally and exhibition outside the UN headquarters to protest the death sentences<\/a> imposed on political prisoners linked to the PMOI<\/a>. The Iranian community in Geneva demanded the immediate release of all political prisoners held in the regime\u2019s prisons.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The event condemned the Iranian regime\u2019s ongoing crimes against its people while expressing solidarity with the continuing <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/iran-protests-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Iranian Revolution<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>During the demonstrations, participants called on the United Nations, the Human Rights Council, and member states to refer the regime\u2019s human rights violations to the UN Security Council. They also urged accountability for the regime\u2019s leaders, advocating for an international tribunal to prosecute them for crimes against humanity.<\/p>\n<p>The protesters emphasized the Iranian people\u2019s demand for a democratic republic, rejecting all forms of dictatorship\u2014whether under the current mullahs\u2019 regime or a return to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shah<\/a>\u2019s rule.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-69709\" src=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Geneva-January-24-pic-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" onerror=\"this.src='https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/hello-elementor\/images\/broken-image-placeholder.gif';this.srcset='https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/hello-elementor\/images\/broken-image-placeholder.gif';\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Geneva-January-24-pic-2.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Geneva-January-24-pic-2-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Geneva-January-24-pic-2-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The rally further called for the recognition of the Iranian resistance and the right of the Iranian people, along with the <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/t\/iranian-resistance-units\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MEK Resistance Units<\/a>\u00a0inside Iran, to defend themselves in their fight against tyranny and dictatorship.<\/p>\n<p>Participants also condemned the regime\u2019s harsh repression of Iranian women, particularly under the pretext of enforcing the hijab. They voiced their support for Iranian women\u2019s resistance against oppression, chanting the slogan: \u201cWoman, Resistance, Freedom.\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\"
