Bolton, UK \u2013 January 29, 2025<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Bolton, UK \u2013 January 29, 2025:<\/strong> Members of the Academics in Exile Association, supporting the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>), organized a book and photo exhibition to protest the\u00a0 death sentences<\/a> imposed on political prisoners affiliated with the\u00a0 PMOI<\/a>. The event urgently called on UK leaders to take action to save Iran\u2019s political prisoners facing execution and to support campaigns against these injustices.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The organizers condemned the Iranian regime\u2019s ongoing crimes against its people and expressed solidarity with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/iran-protests-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Iranian Revolution<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The event shed light on Iran\u2019s dire human rights situation, with a particular focus on political prisoners facing execution. It also called for the immediate release of all political prisoners held by the mullahs\u2019 regime.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition urged the UK government to officially designate the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2023\/04\/irans-regime-irgc-a-state-sponsored-terrorist-organization\/44858\/\">IRGC<\/a> as a terrorist organization and to shut down the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy, which is considered a hub for espionage and terror. Members of Bolton\u2019s Iranian community demanded the international prosecution of Iran\u2019s leaders for crimes against humanity.<\/p>\n<p>The Academics in Exile Association stated on X platform: <em>\u201cAn exhibition held in Bolton on 29\/01\/2025 and urgently called on UK leaders to take action in saving Iran\u2019s political prisoners facing execution and to support campaigns against
