Sheffield, UK \u2013 February 4, 2025:<\/strong> The Academics in Exile Association, supporting the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>), organized a book and photo exhibition to protest the death sentences<\/a> imposed on political prisoners affiliated with the PMOI<\/a>.\u00a0The organizers denounced the Iranian regime\u2019s continued human rights violations and expressed solidarity with the Iranian Revolution<\/a>.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The exhibition highlighted Iran\u2019s worsening human rights crisis, particularly the plight of political prisoners facing execution. It also called for the immediate release of all political detainees held by the mullahs\u2019 regime.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Sheffield, UK \u2013 February 4, 2025 - \u2018Academics in Exile\u2019 Exhibition - Video 2\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bCJX0mUh_F4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The exhibition urged the UK government to officially designate the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2023\/04\/irans-regime-irgc-a-state-sponsored-terrorist-organization\/44858\/\">IRGC<\/a> as a terrorist organization and to shut down the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy, which is considered a hub for espionage and terror.
