Grand Paris Free Iran Rally \u2013 February 8, 2025<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Paris, February 8, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 Thousands of Iranians and international dignitaries gathered in Paris to mark the 46th anniversary of the 1979 anti-monarchic revolution<\/a> and to call for the downfall of Iran\u2019s ruling theocracy. Under the theme \u201cNo to Monarchy, No to Theocracy\u2014Yes to a Democratic Republic!\u201d, the demonstrators voiced their rejection of both the Shah<\/a>\u2019s dictatorship and the current clerical regime, advocating for a democratic and secular Iran.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The rally, part of the #ParisFreeIranRally movement, featured an array of powerful speeches by political leaders, human rights activists, and members of the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/national-council-of-resistance-of-iran\/\" rel=\"\">Iranian Resistance<\/a>. We stand united for a democratic republic.\u201d<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mahnaz Salimian<\/strong>, Senior Secretary of the NCRI, declared that the same fiery spirit that overthrew the Shah would bring down the clerical regime: \u201cRegime officials are tearing each other apart to stay alive.\u201d<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rebecca Malihi, Arash Marandi, Dr. Sina Dashti, Milica Javdan, and Mona Forouzandeh<\/strong>, among others, spoke passionately about the sacrifices made by Iran\u2019s youth in the fight for democracy. \u201cThe young generation of Iran will uproot both the Shah and the mullahs forever,\u201d Forouzandeh vowed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-70224 size-full\" Action<\/h3>\n<p>The rally concluded with resounding chants of \u201cDeath to the oppressor, be it the Shah or the Supreme Leader!\u201d and \u201cFreedom for Iran!\u201d The message was clear: the Iranian people will not rest until they achieve their rightful place among the free nations of the world.<\/p>\n<p>The demonstrators and speakers called on the international community to support the Iranian people\u2019s fight for freedom, recognize the NCRI as their legitimate representative, and impose harsher sanctions on the Iranian regime to accelerate its downfall.<\/p>\n<p>As the
