Sheffield, UK \u2013 February 18, 2025<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Sheffield, UK \u2013 February 18, 2025:<\/strong> The Academics in Exile Association, which supports the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>), organized a book and photo exhibition to protest the death sentences<\/a> imposed on political prisoners affiliated with the PMOI<\/a>. The organizers condemned the Iranian regime\u2019s ongoing human rights violations and expressed solidarity with the Iranian Revolution<\/a>.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"489\" data-end=\"720\">The exhibition shed light on Iran\u2019s escalating human rights crisis, particularly the plight of political prisoners facing execution. It also called for the immediate release of all political detainees held by the mullahs\u2019 regime.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"1047\">Participants urged the UK government to officially designate the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2023\/04\/irans-regime-irgc-a-state-sponsored-terrorist-organization\/44858\/\">IRGC<\/a> as a terrorist organization and shut down the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy, which they described as a hub for espionage and terrorism. Members of Sheffield\u2019s Iranian community demanded international prosecution of Iran\u2019s leaders for crimes against humanity.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1049\" data-end=\"1334\">The Academics in Exile Association shared on X:<br data-start=\"1096\" data-end=\"1099\"><em data-start=\"1099\" data-end=\"1332\">\u201cOn 18\/02\/2025, our book stands in Sheffield received overwhelming support!
