On February 26, 2025, the U.S. House of Representatives introduced House Resolution 166 (H.Res. 166<\/a>) with backing from over 150 lawmakers across party lines, including prominent committee and subcommittee chairs. The resolution reaffirms support for the Iranian people\u2019s right to establish a democratic, secular, and nonnuclear republic while strongly condemning the Iranian regime\u2019s terrorism, human rights violations, and regional destabilization efforts.<\/p>\n
