Vienna, March 3, 2025<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
On Monday, March 3, 2025, coinciding with the International Atomic Energy Agency\u2019s (IAEA<\/a>) Board of Governors meeting, freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>) and the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) gathered in Muhammad-Asad-Platz, Vienna. The protesters demanded the activation of snapback sanctions and the re-implementation of all UN Security Council resolutions to prevent the Iranian regime from acquiring nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"1245\">The demonstrators warned that in October 2025, restrictions on Iran\u2019s production of advanced centrifuges and uranium enrichment to near-weapons-grade levels will officially expire, allowing the regime to develop nuclear weapons without constraints. The Iranian regime is already in violation of all agreements. A recent Reuters report, citing UN nuclear watchdog findings, revealed that Iran\u2019s stockpile of uranium close to weapons grade has surged since December 2024, with no progress in resolving outstanding issues.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1247\" data-end=\"1845\">The protesters also denounced the regime\u2019s longstanding use of negotiations as a deceptive tool to advance its nuclear ambitions and destabilizing policies in the region. They held banners and pictures of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/biography\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maryam Rajav<\/a>i, the President-elect of the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/national-council-of-resistance-of-iran\/\" rel=\"\">NCRI<\/a>, emphasizing the necessity of a firm Western policy against the clerical regime. In a U.S. Congressional Hearing on February 26, 2025, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/us-congressional-caucus-regimes-change-of-behavior-an-illusion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mrs. Rajavi called<\/a> for activating the snapback mechanism, shutting down the regime\u2019s nuclear program, and placing the regime under Chapter VII of the UN Charter due to its threats to global peace and security.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1247\" data-end=\"1845\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-71257\" src=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Vienna-March-3-pic-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" onerror=\"this.src='https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/hello-elementor\/images\/broken-image-placeholder.gif';this.srcset='https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/hello-elementor\/images\/broken-image-placeholder.gif';\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Vienna-March-3-pic-1.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Vienna-March-3-pic-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Vienna-March-3-pic-1-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1847\" data-end=\"2082\">Demonstrators condemned the death sentences of political prisoners affiliated with the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/peoples-mojahedin-pmoi-mek-iran\/\" rel=\"\">PMOI<\/a>, particularly <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/human-rights\/2025\/01\/iranian-political-prisoners-behrouz-ehsani-and-mehdi-hassani-face-imminent-execution-global-attention-urgently-needed\/69687\/\" rel=\"\">Behrouz Ehsani<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/human-rights\/2025\/01\/iranian-political-prisoners-behrouz-ehsani-and-mehdi-hassani-face-imminent-execution-global-attention-urgently-needed\/69687\/\" rel=\"\">Mehdi Hassani<\/a>, who face imminent execution, and called for the immediate release of all political prisoners.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1847\" data-end=\"2082\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-71261\" src=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Vienna-March-3-pic-8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"567\" onerror=\"this.src='https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/hello-elementor\/images\/broken-image-placeholder.gif';this.srcset='https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/hello-elementor\/images\/broken-image-placeholder.gif';\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Vienna-March-3-pic-8.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Vienna-March-3-pic-8-300x170.jpg 300w, https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Vienna-March-3-pic-8-768x435.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2084\" data-end=\"2630\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/about-ncri\/ncri\/alternative\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Iranian Resistance<\/a> supporters urged the IAEA to refer Iran\u2019s nuclear dossier to the UN Security Council. They also demanded a firm stance against the Iranian regime\u2019s terrorism, warmongering, and espionage operations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2084\" data-end=\"2630\">The protesters specifically called for the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2023\/04\/irans-regime-irgc-a-state-sponsored-terrorist-organization\/44858\/\" rel=\"\">IRGC<\/a>) as a terrorist organization and urged the European Union to adopt stronger measures against the regime. Furthermore, they demanded the closure of Iran\u2019s embassy in Austria, which they described as a center of espionage.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2632\" data-end=\"2802\">Beside the rally, an exhibition highlighted the alarming rise in executions in Iran alongside the regime\u2019s escalating nuclear activities, drawing international concern.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2632\" data-end=\"2802\"><img
