Melbourne, Australia<\/strong> \u2013 On March 7, 2025, supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK)<\/a> held an exhibition to mark International Women\u2019s Day, highlighting the ongoing human rights violations in Iran. The exhibition not only condemned the Iranian regime\u2019s systematic oppression of women but also called for an end to execution sentences and gender-based discrimination enforced by the ruling mullahs.<\/div>\n

The event also served as a powerful show of solidarity with the ongoing Iranian Revolution<\/a>, with a specific focus on the rising number of executions of political prisoners.<\/div>\n

Attendees were confronted with the harsh reality of the regime\u2019s brutality, particularly towards those affiliated with the PMOI<\/a>, many of whom face unjust death sentences<\/a>. Among them are Behrouz Ehsani<\/a> and Mehdi Hassani<\/a>, both of whom are at risk of imminent execution.<\/p>\n

The Iranian community in Melbourne voiced their support for a democratic republic in Iran, firmly rejecting all forms of dictatorship, including the mullahs\u2019 regime and any potential return to the Shah<\/a>\u2019s rule.<\/p>\n

The group specifically called for the closure of the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy in Australia and advocated for the blacklisting of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC<\/a>).<\/p>\n

They also emphasized the importance of recognizing the Iranian people\u2019s resistance, particularly the role of the MEK Resistance Units<\/a> inside Iran, in their fight against tyranny and dictatorship. Participants reaffirmed the Iranian people\u2019s right to self-defense in their struggle for freedom.<\/p>\n

Australian citizens also visited the exhibition, expressing their solidarity with the people of Iran and their fight for democracy, freedom, and human rights.<\/p>\n
