The Washington Office<\/a> of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>) held a Nowruz celebration, drawing notable American political figures and long-time advocates of the Iranian Resistance. The event served as a platform to express solidarity with the Iranian people\u2019s ongoing fight for freedom and democracy, and to endorse Maryam Rajavi<\/a>\u2019s Ten-Point Plan<\/a> for a free, secular Iran.<\/p>\n

Among the distinguished speakers were former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Senator Robert Torricelli, and former U.S. Undersecretary of State Ambassador Robert Joseph. Each expressed strong backing for the NCRI<\/a> and emphasized the urgent need for regime change in Iran.<\/p>\n

Rudy Giuliani<\/strong> stressed that true peace in the Middle East cannot be achieved while Iran\u2019s clerical regime remains in power. He condemned past U.S. administrations for returning seized funds to Tehran, arguing that such resources should have supported a free Iranian government instead of being handed back to what he described as \u201ca worse dictator.\u201d Giuliani praised Maryam Rajavi<\/a>\u2019s leadership and reaffirmed his full support for the NCRI\u2019s efforts.<\/p>\n

He also fiercely criticized the Pahlavi monarchy<\/a>, referring to Reza Pahlavi as a symbol of \u201cgenetic decline\u201d and labeling his father as \u201ca madman, coward, and thief\u201d who ruled through repression and corruption. Giuliani emphasized that the Iranian people had already rejected monarchy during their 1979 revolution<\/a> and warned that any attempt to revive it would ultimately fail.<\/p>\n
