April 10, 2025 \u2014<\/strong> In continuation of the protests sparked by the execution of five political prisoners<\/a> in Mashhad, freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>) held new rounds of demonstrations across Europe and North America to denounce the clerical regime\u2019s crimes and to demand international action.<\/p>\n

In Denmark, gatherings were held in both Copenhagen<\/strong> and Aarhus<\/strong>, where demonstrators displayed photos of the executed prisoners and banners condemning the Iranian regime\u2019s escalating wave of repression. Protesters called on Danish authorities to adopt firm policies in support of human rights in Iran.<\/p>\n

Their banners and statements highlighted that \u201cin the early hours of Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at least ten prisoners were executed in Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad, Iran. Among the victims were three women. Five of those executed were Sunni prisoners of conscience, executed after nine years of imprisonment.\u201d<\/em> The demonstrators strongly condemned this brutal crime by the mullahs\u2019 regime and urged the international community to take action. They also urged European countries and the European Union to sever ties with the regime, shut down its embassies \u2014 which serve as centers of terrorism and espionage \u2014 and designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2023\/04\/irans-regime-irgc-a-state-sponsored-terrorist-organization\/44858\/\" rel=\"\">IRGC<\/a>) as a terrorist organization, citing its gross human rights violations and dozens of UN condemnations.<\/p>\nFurthermore, protesters in Canada expressed their strong demand for the closure of the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy in Ottawa, following the designation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2023\/04\/irans-regime-irgc-a-state-sponsored-terrorist-organization\/44858\/\" rel=\"\">IRGC<\/a> as a terrorist organization by the Canadian government.<\/p>\nThese widespread protests underscore the determination of the Iranian diaspora to amplify the voices of the oppressed
