Gothenburg, Sweden \u2013 April 15, 2025:<\/strong> Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) held a rally in solidarity with the No to Executions Tuesdays Campaign<\/a><\/em>, marking the 30th consecutive week of their solidarity movement. The campaign is a response to the Iranian regime\u2019s continued executions in its prisons.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"my-0\">The 30th week of the gathering in Gothenburg coincided with the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/human-rights\/2025\/04\/no-to-executions-tuesdays-campaign-in-iran-reaches-40-prisons-in-its-64th-week\/72505\/\" rel=\"\">64th week<\/a> of the No to Executions Tuesdays campaign. This week marked the <a href=\"https:\/\/iran-hrm.com\/2025\/04\/15\/the-64th-week-of-the-no-to-execution-tuesdays-campaign-in-40-prisons-across-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">64th consecutive Tuesday<\/a> of strikes by political prisoners in 38 prisons across the country, as they commemorated their unified struggle against state-led executions.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-72545\" src=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Gothenburg-April-15-pic-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" Iranian Resistance protested the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/human-rights\/2024\/12\/urgent-action-required-six-political-prisoners-sentenced-to-death-in-iran\/67727\/\" rel=\"\">death sentences<\/a> imposed on political prisoners associated with the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/peoples-mojahedin-pmoi-mek-iran\/\" rel=\"\">PMOI<\/a>, particularly <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/human-rights\/2025\/01\/iranian-political-prisoners-behrouz-ehsani-and-mehdi-hassani-face-imminent-execution-global-attention-urgently-needed\/69687\/\" rel=\"\">Behrouz Ehsani<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/human-rights\/2025\/01\/iranian-political-prisoners-behrouz-ehsani-and-mehdi-hassani-face-imminent-execution-global-attention-urgently-needed\/69687\/\" rel=\"\"> Mehdi Hassani<\/a>, who face imminent execution.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-0\">The protesters also called for the immediate release of all political prisoners and condemned the Iranian regime\u2019s ongoing crimes against the Iranian people, expressing solidarity with the ongoing <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/iran-protests-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Iranian Revolution<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"187\" data-end=\"515\"><a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/peoples-mojahedin-pmoi-mek-iran\/\">MEK<\/a> supporters in Gothenburg further demanded that the leaders of the mullahs\u2019 regime be tried for crimes against humanity in an international court.<\/p>\n<p>Rally participants in Gothenburg urged an end to Sweden\u2019s policy of appeasement toward the Iranian regime and called for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2023\/04\/irans-regime-irgc-a-state-sponsored-terrorist-organization\/44858\/\" rel=\"\">IRGC<\/a>) to be designated as a terrorist organization.<\/p>\n<p>Freedom-loving Iranians in Gothenburg reiterated the Iranian people\u2019s desire for a democratic republic and their rejection of any form of dictatorship, whether under the mullahs\u2019 regime or a return to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shah<\/a>\u2019s rule.<\/p>\n<p>They demanded recognition of the Resistance and the right of the Iranian people and <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/t\/iranian-resistance-units\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MEK Resistance Units<\/a> inside Iran to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone
