Manchester, UK \u2013 April 24, 2025<\/strong>: The Academics in Exile Association<\/em>, aligned with the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>), organized a public bookstall and photo exhibition in Manchester to raise awareness about the worsening human rights situation in Iran\u2014particularly the plight of political prisoners facing execution.<\/p>\n

The event strongly condemned the recent death sentences<\/a> handed down to prisoners affiliated with the PMOI<\/a> and demanded the immediate and unconditional release of all political detainees. The exhibition highlighted the urgent cases of Behrouz Ehsani<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Mehdi Hassani<\/a>, two political prisoners reportedly at imminent risk of execution.<\/p>\n
