Copenhagen, Denmark \u2014 April 25, 2025<\/strong> \u2014 A rally held in Copenhagen drew public attention to the alarming human rights situation in Iran, particularly the plight of political prisoners facing execution.<\/p>\n
Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) organized the event to highlight ongoing human rights violations in the country. The exhibition focused especially on the cases of\u00a0 Behrouz Ehsani<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0 Mehdi Hassani<\/a>, two political prisoners reportedly at imminent risk of execution.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"955\">According to Iran Human Rights Monitor (<a href=\"https:\/\/iran-hrm.com\/2025\/04\/23\/two-political-prisoners-face-imminent-execution-in-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Iran HRM<\/a>), the request for a judicial review (appeal for retrial) for political prisoner <a href=\"https:\/\/iran-hrm.com\/2025\/04\/23\/two-political-prisoners-face-imminent-execution-in-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Behrouz Ehsani<\/a> has been officially rejected. This decision follows the earlier rejection of a similar appeal by <a href=\"https:\/\/iran-hrm.com\/2025\/04\/23\/two-political-prisoners-face-imminent-execution-in-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mehdi Hassani<\/a>. With these denials, both men now face immediate danger of execution.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"957\" data-end=\"1429\">The exhibition featured visual installations, posters, and eyewitness accounts, spotlighting the broader pattern of repression in Iran, particularly the use of the death penalty against dissidents. Attendees were invited to join advocacy efforts, including petition-signing and social media campaigns aimed at drawing international attention. <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/peoples-mojahedin-pmoi-mek-iran\/\">MEK<\/a> supporters in Copenhagen also called for global action to hold Iran\u2019s regime leaders accountable for crimes
