Geneva, Switzerland \u2013 April 28, 2025 \u2014<\/strong>Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>), began a five-day sit-in today at Place des Nations in front of the United Nations Office in Geneva. Running from April 28 to May 2, the protest strongly condemns the Iranian regime\u2019s escalating use of the death penalty, particularly against political prisoners.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"963\" data-end=\"1300\">Demonstrators are demanding the <strong data-start=\"995\" data-end=\"1047\">immediate abolition of the death penalty in Iran<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"1056\" data-end=\"1108\">unconditional release of all political prisoners<\/strong>, particularly those <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/human-rights\/2024\/12\/urgent-action-required-six-political-prisoners-sentenced-to-death-in-iran\/67727\/\" rel=\"\">facing imminent execution<\/a>.
