Munich, Germany \u2013 May 1, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 On International Workers\u2019 Day, supporters of the Iranian Resistance<\/a> gathered to voice their support for the rights of Iranian workers and to condemn the brutal policies of the clerical regime. The rally featured a large turnout of Iranian expatriates, members of the Iranian community, and human rights advocates who stood in solidarity with oppressed workers in Iran and the broader call for democratic change.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"810\" data-end=\"1261\">Protesters strongly denounced the anti-labor policies of the ruling regime in Tehran, emphasizing that Iran\u2019s workers and laborers will only achieve true justice and freedom through the overthrow of the mullahs\u2019 tyrannical rule. They stressed that this can only be accomplished by the Iranian people and their organized resistance, led by the <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/t\/iranian-resistance-units\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Resistance Units<\/a>\u00a0inside Iran affiliated with the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (<a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/about-iranian-opposition-pmoi-mek\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PMOI\/MEK<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1263\" data-end=\"1729\">In Munich, demonstrators also highlighted the alarming rise in executions in Iran, particularly the execution of political prisoners. They condemned the regime\u2019s use of the death penalty as a tool of repression and called for the immediate abolition of capital punishment, especially for political detainees who face imminent execution. Protesters demanded international pressure on the regime to stop executions and respect the right to life and fair trial.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1731\" data-end=\"2259\">Participants reiterated their solidarity with the Iranian working class and all wage earners, asserting that labor rights and human dignity in Iran can only be realized through regime change and the establishment of a democratic, secular republic. Slogans at the rally reflected the rejection of both the former monarchical dictatorship of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/who-is-reza-the-bully-and-why-does-reza-pahlavi-seeks-credit-from-him\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Shah<\/a> and the current religious tyranny, while supporting the democratic vision outlined by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/about-ncri\/alternative\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NCRI<\/a> ) under the leadership of Mrs. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/biography\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maryam Rajav<\/a>i.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2261\" data-end=\"2589\">Additionally, the demonstrators expressed deep sympathy for the victims and survivors of the <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/article\/catastrophic-bandar-abbas-port-explosion-deals-severe-blow-to-irans-trade-lifeline\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bandar Abbas<\/a>\u00a0explosion, many of whom were exploited port workers.
