In a bold action on Friday, May 9, 2025, in Zahedan<\/strong>\u2014the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan Province in southeastern Iran\u2014the courageous MEK<\/a> Resistance Units<\/a> raised placards and banners with slogans denouncing both the religious dictatorship and the former monarchy<\/a>. Their action reaffirmed their unwavering determination to continue the struggle for Iran\u2019s liberation from tyranny and to establish freedom, democracy, and justice across the nation.<\/p>\n

The banners carried a range of powerful slogans and demands of the Resistance Units<\/a>, including:<\/p>\n

We will not allow Khamenei<\/a> and his agents to hide behind the mask of patriotism to escape the uprising.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n
\n
For a hundred years, the real battle in Iran has been between freedom and despotism\u2014between the oppressed people and both the Shah<\/a> and the clerics.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

Diverting this fight into a religious war\u2014toward Quds via Karbala, Islam vs. anti-Islam, hijab vs. no hijab\u2014only serves the clerical regime and gives it excuses to suppress.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n
