Organized by supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>), the demonstration spotlighted the cases of Behrouz Ehsani<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Mehdi Hassani<\/a>\u2014two Iranian political activists whose lives are in immediate danger following the rejection of their retrial appeals.<\/p>\n

Speakers at the event called for increased global solidarity with Iran\u2019s political prisoners and urged the international community to intensify pressure on the Iranian regime to halt its systematic violations of human rights.<\/p>\n
