Canada \u2013 May 17, 2025<\/span><\/span><\/strong>:<\/strong> Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) gathered in Vancouver and Winnipeg to protest the Iranian regime\u2019s escalating human rights abuses, with a particular focus on recent death sentences<\/a>\u00a0handed down to political prisoners.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
The rallies also marked the 60th anniversary of the PMOI\/MEK<\/a>\u2019s founding in 1965. Demonstrators paid tribute to six decades of the organization\u2019s steadfast resistance against two tyrannical regimes: the overthrown monarchy<\/a> of the Shah<\/a> and the current theocratic dictatorship. They honored the MEK<\/a>\u2019s enduring commitment to achieving a free and democratic Iran.<\/div>\n
