MEK 30 years after Iran\u2019s 1988 massacre<\/p>\n
Three decades have passed from the horrible summer of 1988 when Iranian regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini ordered the massacre of over 30,000 political prisoners,<\/a> most of whom being members and supporters of the Iranian opposition People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK).<\/a><\/p>\n Iranians in 30 cities across the world have joined for an online conference to commemorate the memory of more than 30,000 political prisoners executed by the Iranian regime in the summer of 1988.<\/p>\n The event, which has become known as the \u201c1988 massacre,\u201d was triggered by a fatwa by then\u2013supreme leader of the Iranian regime<\/a> Ruhollah Khomeini, which ordered regime officials to purge all prisons of political prisoners affiliated with the PMOI\/MEK.<\/p>\n https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/2018\/08\/28\/maryam-rajavi-1988-massacre-iran\/<\/p>\nMrs.Fakhri Shirazi delivered a speech in this conference as follow:<\/h4>\n
