Renewed Calls for Democratic Change as Iranian Resistance Supporters Rally in Berlin and Stockholm<\/h3>\n

On June 21, 2025, tens of thousands of Iranians took to the streets in Berlin<\/strong> and Stockholm<\/strong>, demonstrating their unwavering support for regime change through the organized resistance movement<\/strong> led by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>)<\/strong> and the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>)<\/strong>. The rallies powerfully echoed the NCRI\u2019s proposed \u201cThird Option<\/a>\u201d<\/strong>: democratic change by the people of Iran, rejecting both war and appeasement.<\/p>\n

In a joint address<\/a> to both rallies, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a><\/strong>, the NCRI\u2019s President-elect, stated:<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, We Are on the Threshold of a Great Transformation.\u201d
She added:
\u201cI want to begin with the words I spoke 21 years ago, in my message to your rally in Berlin on February 10, 2005: \u2018Our message is clear: The Iranian people\u2019s resistance for freedom must be recognized. We say no to appeasement and saving the mullahs\u2019 regime, and no to war.\u2019 Instead, \u2018there is a Third Option: regime change by the people of Iran and the Iranian Resistance. Democratic change is the will of the Iranian people and the verdict of history.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Berlin: Rejecting Tyranny in All Forms<\/h3>\n

In Berlin<\/strong>, large crowds of freedom-seeking Iranians marched with placards and banners, chanting slogans against the ruling theocracy and rejecting the return of the deposed monarchy<\/a>. Echoing the message from Mrs. Rajavi<\/a>, the demonstrators voiced strong support for democratic change through the organized resistance. The atmosphere was one of clarity and resolve: Iran\u2019s future must not revert to a previous monarchical dictatorship, nor remain under the current regime.<\/p>\n
