In a recent interview with *Fox News Digital<\/em><\/a>,* Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>), expressed her firm belief that regime change in Iran is not only achievable but inevitable\u2014driven by the Iranian people\u2019s organized resistance, not foreign military action.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Rajavi<\/a> outlined her coalition\u2019s vision for a free, democratic, and secular Iran, centered around her Ten-Point Plan<\/a>, which includes the establishment of a republic based on gender equality, religious freedom, and universal human rights. She strongly dismissed claims that the opposition lacks popular support, calling such assertions fabricated narratives pushed by the regime.<\/p>\n
Rejecting any alliance with monarchist factions, Rajavi made it clear that meaningful change must emerge through free elections and the will of the Iranian public. As President Donald Trump\u2018s historic ceasefire takes effect, uncertainty over the future of Iran and the push for regime change has the main Iranian opposition groups verbally fighting it out to persuade Iranians that they are most capable of taking over from the mullahs.<\/p>\n
In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Maryam Rajavi, president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>), answered questions on the group\u2019s positions and policies that she hopes will lead the Iranian people to rise up against the regime.<\/p>\n
Rajavi leads the controversial group, which is affiliated to Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK<\/a>). Once listed as a terrorist organization in the U.S., the group was taken off the list in 2012 and is credited with first exposing the Islamic Republic of Iran\u2019s nuclear weapons program.<\/p>\n
