Ottawa, Canada \u2013 July 19, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) held a rally to condemn the wave of death sentences<\/a> and intensified repression targeting political prisoners by Iran\u2019s regime. Organizers demanded the immediate cancellation of death sentences<\/a> and the unconditional release of all political prisoners.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"591\" data-end=\"885\">Participants denounced the regime\u2019s recent threats to transfer <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/human-rights\/2025\/07\/saeed-masouris-resistance-irans-crackdown-on-political-prisoners-exposed\/76314\/\" rel=\"\">Saeed Masouri<\/a>\u2014one of Iran\u2019s longest-imprisoned political prisoners\u2014to the notorious Zahedan Prison. They described this threat as a clear signal of danger to his life and part of the regime\u2019s broader strategy of intimidation and isolation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"591\" data-end=\"885\">Recently, <a href=\"https:\/\/iran-hrm.com\/2025\/07\/21\/iran-urgent-action-stop-repeat-1988massacre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the mullahs\u2019 regime sentenced<\/a> three political activists\u2014Farshad Etemadi-Far, Masoud Jamei, and Alireza Mardasi\u2014to death after enduring two years of brutal torture. They were charged with \u201cmoharebeh\u201d (waging war on God) solely for their support of the PMOI. Drawing parallels to the <a href=\"https:\/\/iran1988.org\/1988-massacre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1988 massacre<\/a> of political prisoners in Iran, they declared: \u201cA crime is in progress.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1183\" data-end=\"1458\">The demonstrators called for the immediate release of all political prisoners and urged the international community to hold the Iranian regime accountable for its crimes. They appealed for the prosecution of regime leaders in international courts for crimes against humanity.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1968\" data-end=\"2126\">Organizers also emphasized the <span
