San Francisco \u2013 July 20, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 Members of the Iranian American community in San Francisco, supporters of the Iranian Resistance including the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>), organized a rally, bookstand, and photo exhibition to denounce the recent surge in death sentences<\/a> and escalating repression against political prisoners by the Iranian regime. The event called for the immediate revocation of all death sentences<\/a> and the unconditional release of political prisoners.<\/p>\n

Participants strongly condemned the regime\u2019s threats to transfer Saeed Masouri<\/a>\u2014one of the longest-held political prisoners in Iran\u2014to the notorious Zahedan Prison. They warned that such a move would endanger his life and is part of a broader campaign of intimidation, isolation, and psychological torture by the regime.<\/p>\n
