The Free-Iran World Summit 2025 \u2013 Rome, Italy \u2013 July 31, 2025<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
On July 31, 2025<\/strong>, Rome hosted a major international event\u2014the International Free Iran Summit 2025<\/strong>, marking the third session of the Free Iran World Summit<\/strong>. At the heart of Europe, lawmakers, diplomats, former heads of state, human rights advocates, and policy experts united in support of the **Iranian people\u2019s struggle for freedom<\/strong>, justice, and democracy.<\/p>\n**
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1221\" data-end=\"1695\">Speakers condemned the Iranian regime\u2019s escalating human rights abuses, denounced the massacre of political prisoners, and emphasized that the <strong data-start=\"1364\" data-end=\"1413\">National Council of Resistance of Iran (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/about-ncri\/alternative\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NCRI<\/a>)<\/strong> and its main component, the <strong data-start=\"1442\" data-end=\"1496\">People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (<a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/about-iranian-opposition-pmoi-mek\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PMOI\/MEK<\/a>)<\/strong>, are the only <strong data-start=\"1511\" data-end=\"1548\">organized, democratic alternative<\/strong> to the theocracy in Tehran. He condemned the <a href=\"https:\/\/iran1988.org\/1988-massacre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"1953\" data-end=\"1970\">1988 massacre<\/strong><\/a>, calling it:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1985\" data-end=\"2112\">\n<p data-start=\"1987\" data-end=\"2112\">\u201cOne of the darkest chapters in Iran\u2019s and humanity\u2019s history\u2026 at least 30,000 PMOI members were executed in a single month.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"2114\" data-end=\"2175\">He stressed that these crimes remain unpunished and declared:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"2177\" data-end=\"2266\">\n<p data-start=\"2179\" data-end=\"2266\">\u201cIt is high time for justice. The regime\u2019s violence against its own people is endless.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"2268\" data-end=\"2312\">Terzi outlined the <strong data-start=\"2287\" data-end=\"2303\">third option<\/strong> clearly:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"2314\" data-end=\"2464\">\n<p data-start=\"2316\" data-end=\"2464\">\u201cThere is a clear alternative to the mullahs, and it is here. The third option means no foreign war, no religious dictatorship, and no appeasement.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"2466\" data-end=\"2636\">He praised <strong data-start=\"2477\" data-end=\"2507\">Maryam Rajavi\u2019s leadership<\/strong> and noted that over <strong data-start=\"2528\" data-end=\"2556\">4,000 lawmakers globally<\/strong> now support the NCRI, forming a growing <strong data-start=\"2597\" data-end=\"2635\">international movement for freedom<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2643\" data-end=\"2704\">Maryam Rajavi: Regime Change by the People Is the Only Way<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2706\" data-end=\"2925\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/biography\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"2706\" data-end=\"2723\">Maryam Rajavi<\/strong><\/a>, President-elect of the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/national-council-of-resistance-of-iran\/\" rel=\"\"><strong data-start=\"2748\" data-end=\"2756\">NCRI<\/strong><\/a>, gave a powerful keynote speech calling for the end of religious dictatorship and honoring two recently executed PMOI members, <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/news\/2025\/07\/execution-of-pmoi-political-prisoners-in-iran-behrouz-ehsani-and-mehdi-hassani-hanged\/76751\/\" rel=\"\"><strong data-start=\"2884\" data-end=\"2902\">Behrouz Ehsani<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/news\/2025\/07\/execution-of-pmoi-political-prisoners-in-iran-behrouz-ehsani-and-mehdi-hassani-hanged\/76751\/\" rel=\"\"><strong data-start=\"2907\" data-end=\"2924\">Mehdi Hassani<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"2927\" data-end=\"2976\">\n<p data-start=\"2929\" data-end=\"2976\">\u201cHeroes who never bowed to their executioners.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"2978\" data-end=\"2993\">She emphasized:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"2995\" data-end=\"3148\">\n<p data-start=\"2997\" data-end=\"3148\">\u201cUnder no circumstances will we ever surrender to this bloodthirsty regime\u2026 Iran\u2019s future belongs to freedom, democracy, and the people\u2019s sovereignty.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"3150\" data-end=\"3349\">Rajavi laid out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/viewpoints\/plan-for-future-of-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"3170\" data-end=\"3188\">Ten-Point Plan<\/strong><\/a> for a <strong data-start=\"3195\" data-end=\"3236\">secular, democratic, non-nuclear Iran<\/strong>, promising the end of executions, the compulsory hijab, and religious rule. But their relentless effort to silence you proves the opposite.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"3929\" data-end=\"3980\">He endorsed the <strong data-start=\"3945\" data-end=\"3963\">Ten-Point Plan<\/strong> as a vision for:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"3982\" data-end=\"4094\">\n<p data-start=\"3984\" data-end=\"4094\">\u201cFreedom of belief, gender equality, rule of law, and a nuclear-free Iran living in peace with its neighbors.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"4096\" data-end=\"4123\">Michel closed with resolve:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"4125\" data-end=\"4187\">\n<p data-start=\"4127\" data-end=\"4187\">\u201cThere is a democratic alternative. Let\u2019s choose Free Iran.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 data-start=\"4194\" data-end=\"4252\">Mich\u00e8le Alliot-Marie: Iran Cannot Be Trusted with Power<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4254\" data-end=\"4421\">Former French Minister of Defense, Interior, Justice, and Foreign Affairs <strong data-start=\"4328\" data-end=\"4352\">Mich\u00e8le Alliot-Marie<\/strong> recalled warning about Tehran\u2019s nuclear ambitions over a decade ago:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"4423\" data-end=\"4537\">\n<p data-start=\"4425\" data-end=\"4537\">\u201cThe danger is not the technology itself but that it is in the hands of an aggressive, theocratic dictatorship.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"4539\" data-end=\"4575\">She condemned the regime\u2019s behavior:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"4577\" data-end=\"4716\">\n<p data-start=\"4579\" data-end=\"4716\">\u201cIn no domain has the government of the mullahs respected its commitments\u2014not in nuclear matters, not in terrorism, not in human rights.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"4718\" data-end=\"4810\">Alliot-Marie emphasized that neither appeasement nor military intervention are the solution:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"4812\" data-end=\"4952\">\n<p data-start=\"4814\" data-end=\"4952\">\u201cOnly the Iranian people can decide their future through free elections, and Maryam Rajavi carries that project with clarity and courage.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 data-start=\"4959\" data-end=\"5021\">Rudy Giuliani: No Monarchy, No Dictatorship\u2014Only Resistance<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"5023\" data-end=\"5143\">Former New York City Mayor <strong data-start=\"5050\" data-end=\"5067\">Rudy Giuliani<\/strong> recalled the attacks on Ashraf residents in Iraq and honored their bravery:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"5145\" data-end=\"5219\">\n<p data-start=\"5147\" data-end=\"5219\">\u201cWe didn\u2019t know how many they would kill each night\u2026 That is courage.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"5221\" data-end=\"5248\">He described the regime as:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"5250\" data-end=\"5352\">\n<p data-start=\"5252\" data-end=\"5352\">\u201cOne of the bloodiest tyrannies in modern history, killing its own people by the tens of thousands.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"5354\" data-end=\"5407\">He dismissed <strong data-start=\"5367\" data-end=\"5383\">Reza Pahlavi<\/strong> as a legitimate option:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"5409\" data-end=\"5494\">\n<p data-start=\"5411\" data-end=\"5494\">\u201cA man who lived off stolen money while Iranians starved. The only way is regime change by the Iranian people and their organized Resistance.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"6019\" data-end=\"6068\">Renzi urged Europeans not to misjudge Iran again:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"6070\" data-end=\"6160\">\n<p data-start=\"6072\" data-end=\"6160\">\u201cNow is the time for democracy, for justice, for peace.
