Aarhus, Denmark \u2013 August 16, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) gathered in Aarhus to raise the alarm over the imminent execution of five political prisoners<\/a> in Iran: Vahid Bani-Amerian, Pouya Ghobadi, Shahrokh Daneshvarkar, Mohammad Taghavi, and Babak Alipour. The Iranian regime has transferred them to Ghezel Hesar Prison, a facility notorious for mass executions, placing their lives in grave danger.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"692\" data-end=\"1013\">Protesters in Aarhus called for the overthrow of the mullahs\u2019 regime by the Iranian people and the organized Resistance. They declared: <em data-start=\"831\" data-end=\"892\">No to war, no to appeasement, and yes to the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/viewpoints\/regime-change-in-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Third Option<\/a>\u201d<\/em> proposed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/biography\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, President-elect of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/national-council-of-resistance-of-iran\/\" rel=\"\">NCRI<\/a>, and her\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/viewpoints\/plan-for-future-of-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ten-Point Plan<\/a> for a democratic republic in Iran.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1182\">Demonstrators expressed unwavering support for the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/peoples-mojahedin-pmoi-mek-iran\/\" rel=\"\">PMOI<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/resistanceunits.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Resistance Units<\/a>\u00a0inside Iran and reaffirmed their commitment to a democratic republic, rejecting both theocracy and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">monarchy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1184\" data-end=\"1202\">They called for:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1203\" data-end=\"1410\">\n<li data-start=\"1203\" data-end=\"1259\">\n<p data-start=\"1205\" data-end=\"1259\">The complete abolition of the death penalty in Iran;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1260\" data-end=\"1331\">\n<p data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1331\">The immediate and unconditional release of all political prisoners;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1332\" data-end=\"1410\">\n<p data-start=\"1334\" data-end=\"1410\">International recognition of the Iranian people\u2019s right to resist tyranny.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1538\">Freedom-loving Iranians in Aarhus also backed Mrs. Rajavi\u2019s call to expand participation in the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/campaign-of-no-to-executions-in-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">No to Executions<\/a>\u201d\u00a0campaign.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1412\"
