Vancouver, Canada \u2013 August 9, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 ISupporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) gathered in Vancouver to raise the alarm over the imminent execution of five political prisoners<\/a>\u00a0in Iran: Vahid Bani-Amerian, Pouya Ghobadi, Shahrokh Daneshvarkar, Mohammad Taghavi, and Babak Alipour. The Iranian regime has transferred them to Ghezel Hesar Prison, a facility notorious for mass executions, placing their lives in grave danger.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"730\" data-end=\"1157\">The protest also condemned the recent state-sanctioned executions of PMOI members\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/human-rights\/2025\/07\/execution-of-pmoi-political-prisoners-in-iran-behrouz-ehsani-and-mehdi-hassani-hanged\/76751\/\" rel=\"\">Mehdi Hassani<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/human-rights\/2025\/07\/execution-of-pmoi-political-prisoners-in-iran-behrouz-ehsani-and-mehdi-hassani-hanged\/76751\/\" rel=\"\">Behrouz Ehsani<\/a>, highlighting the Mullahs\u2019 escalating campaign of repression.
