MEK supporters rally in Paris on Sept 13, 2025, honoring the 2022 uprising and calling for freedom and democracy in Iran.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Paris, France \u2014 September 13, 2025:<\/strong> Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) held a rally and photo exhibition in Paris. The event marked the third anniversary of the 2022 nationwide uprising<\/a> and showed solidarity with the Iranian people\u2019s struggle<\/a> for freedom and a democratic republic.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"128\" data-end=\"180\">Honoring the Martyrs and Opposing Dictatorship<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"582\" data-end=\"970\">The rally displayed photos honoring the martyrs of the 2022 uprising and commemorated their sacrifice for freedom. Through placards, banners, and collective chants, participants demanded a firm international policy against Iran\u2019s religious dictatorship. These included two members of the MEK, <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/news\/2025\/07\/execution-of-pmoi-political-prisoners-in-iran-behrouz-ehsani-and-mehdi-hassani-hanged\/76751\/\" rel=\"\">Behrouz Ehsani<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/news\/2025\/07\/execution-of-pmoi-political-prisoners-in-iran-behrouz-ehsani-and-mehdi-hassani-hanged\/76751\/\" rel=\"\">Mehdi Hassani<\/a>, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfocus.com\/human-rights\/55293-iranian-executes-detainee-from-2022-protests\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mehran Bahramian<\/a>, a fighter of the 2022 uprising from the city of Semirom. All three were executed by the clerical regime.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1265\" data-end=\"1495\">Protesters also denounced the regime\u2019s brutal repression of women under the pretext of enforcing compulsory hijab. They also called for the immediate and unconditional release of all political prisoners, particularly <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/human-rights\/2025\/08\/five-iranian-political-prisoners-at-imminent-risk-of-execution-after-transfer-to-ghezel-hesar\/77204\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">those facing imminent executio<\/a>n. They rejected all forms of dictatorship\u2014whether the ruling clerical regime or a return to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shah<\/a>\u2019s rule.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2078\" data-end=\"2351\">Finally, the demonstration concluded with strong calls for recognition of the Iranian Resistance. Participants emphasized the right of the Iranian people and <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/t\/iranian-resistance-units\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MEK Resistance Units<\/a> inside
