New York, September 23, 2025 \u2014<\/strong> In a large demonstration outside the United Nations, thousands of Iranian Americans, supporters of the Iranian Resistance, and international figures gathered to declare that dictatorship in Iran\u2014whether under the Shah<\/a> or the clerical regime\u2014is over.<\/p>\n
Speakers denounced the regime\u2019s increasing executions, regional aggression, and nuclear deception, and affirmed support for the organized Resistance led by NCRI<\/a> President-elect Maryam Rajavi<\/a> and her Ten-Point Plan<\/a> for a secular, democratic, and non-nuclear republic.<\/p>\n

Declaring her own support, she added, \u201cThe only movement with the clarity and courage to uproot this regime is the MEK. I stand with the MEK, I stand with the NCRI, and I stand with Maryam Rajavi.\u201d<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"1514\" data-end=\"1532\">Hanif Ahadi<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"1533\" data-end=\"1945\">Hanif Ahadi, the grandson of a victim of the 1988 massacre, pledged to carry forward his grandfather\u2019s legacy. \u201cI stand for a free Iran, where the death penalty is abolished, where men and women are equal, and where clerics do not rule from a throne,\u201d he said.
