Gothenburg, Sweden \u2013 September 27, 2025 \u2013<\/strong> Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) gathered in Gothenburg to commemorate the anniversary of the September 27, 1981 uprising (5 Mehr 1360<\/a>) in Tehran by PMOI members. They pledged to continue their struggle until the overthrow of the mullahs\u2019 regime in Iran.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"148\" data-end=\"815\">Demonstrators reaffirmed their support for <a class=\"hover:text-super hover:decoration-super break-words underline decoration-from-font underline-offset-1 transition-all duration-300\" href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/biography\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Maryam Rajavi<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0<a class=\"hover:text-super hover:decoration-super break-words underline decoration-from-font underline-offset-1 transition-all duration-300\" href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/viewpoints\/regime-change-in-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Third Option<\/a>\u00a0and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (<a class=\"hover:text-super hover:decoration-super break-words underline decoration-from-font underline-offset-1 transition-all duration-300\" href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/national-council-of-resistance-of-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">NCRI<\/a>), presenting it as the only democratic alternative to the ruling theocracy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"148\" data-end=\"815\">Participants expressed solidarity with the <a class=\"hover:text-super hover:decoration-super break-words underline decoration-from-font underline-offset-1 transition-all duration-300\" href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/iran-protests-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">2022 nationwide uprising<\/a>\u00a0and urged the Swedish government to close the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy and designate the\u00a0<a class=\"hover:text-super hover:decoration-super break-words underline decoration-from-font underline-offset-1 transition-all duration-300\" href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2023\/04\/irans-regime-irgc-a-state-sponsored-terrorist-organization\/44858\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">IRGC<\/a>\u00a0as a terrorist organization.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"148\" data-end=\"815\">A central theme of the rally was <a class=\"hover:text-super hover:decoration-super break-words underline decoration-from-font underline-offset-1 transition-all duration-300\" href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/maryam-rajavi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Maryam Rajavi<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0<a class=\"hover:text-super hover:decoration-super break-words underline decoration-from-font underline-offset-1 transition-all duration-300\" href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/viewpoints\/plan-for-future-of-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Ten-Point Plan<\/a>\u00a0for Iran\u2019s future, which calls for universal suffrage, gender equality, freedom of speech and assembly, autonomy for ethnic minorities, separation of religion and state, a non-nuclear Iran, and other democratic reforms. Attendees emphasized that this plan offers a clear and practical roadmap for a free, secular, and democratic republic in Iran.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"148\" data-end=\"815\">Speakers condemned all forms of dictatorship\u2014both clerical and <a class=\"hover:text-super hover:decoration-super break-words underline decoration-from-font underline-offset-1 transition-all duration-300\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">monarchical<\/a>\u2014emphasizing that Iran\u2019s future must be built on democracy, human rights, and popular sovereignty.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"148\" data-end=\"815\">The rally concluded with a strong call on the international community to stand with the Iranian people, recognize their right to resist tyranny, and support the <a class=\"hover:text-super hover:decoration-super break-words underline decoration-from-font underline-offset-1 transition-all duration-300\" href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/iranian-resistance-units\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">MEK Resistance Units<\/a>\u00a0in
