Bremen, Germany \u2013 September 27, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) gathered in Bremen to commemorate the anniversary of the September 27, 1981 uprising (5 Mehr 1360<\/a>) and to honor the memory of Zahedan\u2019s Bloody Friday<\/a> during the 2022 nationwide protests<\/a>. Participants strongly condemned executions in Iran and urged the immediate release of political prisoners.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"882\" data-end=\"1239\">On September 27, 1981, Iranian students and youth supporting the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/peoples-mojahedin-pmoi-mek-iran\/\" rel=\"\">PMOI<\/a> launched a historic uprising, breaking the regime\u2019s red lines with chants of <em data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1084\">\u201cDeath to Khomeini, Long Live Freedom.\u201d<\/em> The regime\u2019s response was swift and brutal. Eyewitnesses reported that 1,800 protesters and MEK supporters were executed in Evin Prison that very night.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Bremen Rally Honors 1981 Uprising and Zahedan Bloody Friday, Condemns Executions in Iran - Video 2\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AKB2XU9nNaY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1241\" data-end=\"1592\">In Bremen, MEK supporters paid tribute to those who gave their lives for freedom, declaring that their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten. Demonstrators also voiced steadfast support for the <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/iranian-resistance-units\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PMOI\u00a0Resistance Units<\/a> inside Iran and reaffirmed their commitment to establishing a democratic republic, rejecting both theocracy and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">monarchy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1594\" data-end=\"1637\">The rally highlighted four core demands:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1624\" data-end=\"2045\">\n<li data-start=\"1624\" data-end=\"1671\">\n<p data-start=\"1626\" data-end=\"1671\">The abolition of the death penalty in Iran;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1672\" data-end=\"1743\">\n<p data-start=\"1674\" data-end=\"1743\">The immediate and unconditional release of all political prisoners;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1744\" data-end=\"1822\">\n<p data-start=\"1746\" data-end=\"1822\">International recognition of the Iranian people\u2019s right to resist tyranny;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1823\" data-end=\"1943\">Closure of the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy in Germany, described as a hub of espionage and terrorism.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img
