On Friday, October 3, 2025, the Resistance Units<\/a>\u00a0of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) carried out a series of coordinated activities in Zahedan, the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan Province. The activists displayed banners and slogans calling for the overthrow of the clerical dictatorship and rejecting any form of autocracy\u2014whether monarchy<\/a> or mullahs\u2019 rule\u2014while affirming the Iranian people\u2019s demand for freedom and a democratic republic.<\/p>\n

Slogans and Messages<\/h3>\n

The Resistance Units<\/a>\u2019 banners and graffiti featured messages such as:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Massoud Rajavi<\/strong><\/a>: \u201cKhamenei<\/a> , greet your downfall and overthrow just as the Shah<\/a> did!\u201d<\/p>\n

Maryam Rajavi<\/strong>: \u201cThis regime has taken the freedom of the Iranian people, peace in the Middle East, and world security hostage.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNeither monarchy<\/a> nor the clerical leadership \u2014 democracy and equality.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNeither the cleric nor the Shah \u2014 freedom and a democratic republic.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe people of Iran will not rest until they are liberated from a regime of executions, plunder, and massacres.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDeath to the oppressor \u2014 whether Shah<\/a> or Supreme Leader<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Through these slogans, the Resistance Units reaffirmed their total rejection of both monarchy and clerical rule, insisting that democracy, equality, and popular sovereignty are the only acceptable future for Iran. The slogans\u2019 recurring theme \u2013 \u201cOne step to uprising\u201d <\/strong>\u2013 symbolized an intensifying mood of resistance against the regime\u2019s repression.<\/p>\n

The statements by Massoud <\/strong>and Maryam Rajavi<\/strong> reflected the determination of the organized resistance to continue the struggle until the Iranian people achieve freedom and justice. Their words invoked both national pride and a call to reclaim Iran from dictatorship.<\/p>\n

Zahedan has long been a focal point of social unrest and a symbol of defiance against the regime\u2019s injustices. By conducting these actions there, the Resistance Units highlighted the nationwide scope of the organized movement. Despite the regime\u2019s heavy security presence, activists risked arrest and persecution to spread their message of change and hope.<\/p>\n
