Manchester, UK \u2013 October 7, 2025 \u2013<\/strong> The Academics in Exile Association, supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>), organized an exhibition and bookstall in Manchester to condemn the Iranian regime\u2019s escalating executions of political prisoners. The event was held in solidarity with the international \u201c No to Execution Tuesdays<\/a>\u201d campaign.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"537\" data-end=\"775\">The exhibition sharply denounced Iran\u2019s regime for its widespread use of torture and the issuing of death sentences against political detainees. Participants called for the immediate and unconditional release of all political prisoners.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"777\" data-end=\"962\">Attendees also signed a petition advocating for the establishment of a democratic republic in Iran and voiced support for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/about-ncri\/ncri\/alternative\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NCRI as a democratic alternative<\/a> for the nation\u2019s future.<\/p>\n<p><\/p><blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Today, 7 Oct 2025, in <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Manchester?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Manchester<\/a>, supporters of \u201cTuesdays No to Executions\u201d gathered to condemn the ongoing executions in Iran. Participants signed a petition calling for <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Democracy?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Democracy<\/a>, people\u2019s rule, and an end to the regime\u2019s brutality. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/FreeIran2025?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#FreeIran2025<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/ncrialternative?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#ncrialternative<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/hlzHcZBxpr\">pic.twitter.com\/hlzHcZBxpr<\/a><\/p>\u2014 Academics In Exile Association (@iranianacademic) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/iranianacademic\/status\/1975599770485072194?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 7, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<p data-start=\"964\" data-end=\"1190\">Organizers urged the UK government to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2023\/04\/irans-regime-irgc-a-state-sponsored-terrorist-organization\/44858\/\">IRGC<\/a>) as a terrorist organization and to close the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy in London, described as a center for espionage and terrorism.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1192\" data-end=\"1519\">Local residents joined the call for international action, stronger sanctions, and recognition of the Iranian people\u2019s right to self-defense.
