In continuation of the uprisings in Iran, on Wednesday, the toiler truck drivers continued their integrated and nationwide strike for the eleventh day. <\/strong><\/p>\n This strike continues in most cities of Iran, despite the enormous pressures and deceptions of the clerical regime.<\/strong><\/p>\n This nationwide and great strike has so far spread to 282 cities in 31 provinces of the country and the Velayat-e faqih regime\u2019s officials have been overwhelmed by fear of the linkages between the MEK<\/a> and the protest uprisings and strikes of the irked people and began threatening the toiler drivers.<\/p>\n The nationwide truckers\u2019 strike is also supported by the International Transport Workers\u2019 Federation (ITF)<\/a>.<\/p>\n The International Transport Workers\u2019 Federation (ITF) issued a statements and supported the truck drivers\u2019 strike.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n The statements reads, \u201cThe International Transport Workers\u2019 Federation (ITF) expresses its concern about the Iranian government\u2019s reaction to the latest industrial action by truck drivers, which is in its second week.<\/p>\n The ITF is extremely concerned that news emerging from Iran has detailed a large number of driver arrests. Around 150 truck drivers in various provinces have reportedly been detained for participating in the action, with a spokesperson for the judiciary threatening \u201cheavy punishment.\u201d<\/p>\n Most seriously, the ITF understands that Iran\u2019s attorney general, Mohammad Jaafar Montazeri, has suggested that those who initiated the protest actions will be subject to the death penalty, citing a threat to national security. His comments have been echoed by other clerics.<\/p>\n ITF head of inland transport Noel Coard said: \u201cWe are very concerned about the situation. Let it be clear that ITF unions globally voice their solidarity and stand alongside the truckers of Iran in their fight to defend workers\u2019 rights.\u201d<\/p>\n Also, the American Teamsters union have voiced their support for the striking truck drivers in Iran for a second time this year in an open letter to the Deputy Director of Iran\u2019s interests in the US, Abolfazl Mehrabadi and urged the Iranian Regime to listen to the demands of the striking workers.<\/p>\n The International Brotherhood of Teamsters, which has 1.4 million members in the US and Canada, published their letter, written by General President James P.
